Luke Wood took four wickets on his return to the Nottinghamshire side as the visitors bowled Somerset out for 326 on the first day of the Specsavers County Championship clash.
Wood claimed figures of 4-85, ending the stays of half-centurions Steven Davies and Dom Bess, while Ravichandran Ashwin (3-93), Jake Ball (2-64) and Luke Fletcher (1-50) also chipped in with scalps.
