Jake Libby marked his return to the Nottinghamshire XI with a half-century as the visitors made 241 on the second day of their Specsavers County Championship clash with Somerset.

Libby shared a century stand with Chris Nash, who retired hurt on 50 after being struck on the helmet by a short-pitched delivery.

Somerset's spin duo of Dom Bess and Jack Leach took eight wickets between them to dismiss Notts, before Ravichandran Ashwin took an early wicket to reduce the home side to 7-1 at stumps.
