Children inspired by England's Cricket World Cup heroics are being given the chance to get involved with the sport over the summer holidays.

All Stars Cricket ‘Have-A-Go’ sessions will take place in Worksop, Sutton-in-Ashfield and Nottingham, distributing the feelgood factor from England’s historic tournament win across the county.

The sessions are designed to give children aged five to eight a great first experience with cricket.

They are inspired by the main All Stars Cricket programme, which over 1,000 kids have taken part in this summer across Nottinghamshire alone.

All Stars activities place the emphasis on fun and developing movement skills, and are safe and fully accredited.

New participants also receive a free bat and ball.
