Luke Fletcher has picked up three awards at the Club’s end of season dinner, including being named Nottinghamshire’s 2019 Player of the Season.

The seamer, who has just completed his 12th season in green and gold, received the overall accolade after enjoying a consistent campaign in all formats.

Fletcher was also named County Championship Player of the Season after topping the wicket-taking charts for Notts, with 35 victims at 26.45.

The 31-year-old completed his hat-trick of awards by taking home the Royal London One-Day Cup Player of the Season award, having taken 17 wickets and scored 138 runs during the Outlaws’ run to the semi-finals.

Meanwhile, Alex Hales was named Vitality Blast Player of the Season, after enjoying another productive T20 campaign with the bat.

The 30-year-old scored 483 runs at 38, including a high score of 83* in Notts’ ten-wicket quarter-final victory over Middlesex.

And Liam Patterson-White was honoured for his breakthrough season with the Club, receiving the Uncapped Player of the Season gong and the Charles Vernon Price Memorial Award for the Academy’s most-improved player.

The 20-year-old, who made his debut in July at Taunton, took 20 Specsavers County Championship wickets in five appearances and notched his maiden first-class fifty against Yorkshire at Scarborough.

The awards were presented at the Club’s annual End of Season Dinner, anchored by BBC East Midlands Today’s Colin Hazelden.

There was also recognition for Samit Patel’s matchwinning hundred against Northamptonshire in the Royal London One-Day Cup, Chris Nash’s unbeaten 74 on his return to the T20 side for the Vitality Blast quarter-final, and Stuart Broad’s wicket-taking exploits for England in the Ashes.
