It was the stuff of Trent Bridge folklore, and is destined to be spoken about for many more years to come; on this day back in 2015 Stuart Broad wrote himself into Ashes history.

With England leading the series 2-1, the third Test at Trent Bridge gave the hosts the chance to secure the Ashes in Nottingham for the first time in history.

By lunch on the first morning the series was all but won courtesy of one of 'those' Broad spells, his 8-15 dismissing Australia for just 60 on the opening morning.

Chris Rogers, Steve Smith, Shaun Marsh, Michael Clarke, Adam Voges, Mitchell Johnson, Mitchell Starc and Nathan Lyon all fell in a sublime spell of swing bowling, setting up the victory early on the third morning.
