Tom Moores is to represent Nottinghamshire in an inter-county cricket videogame competition organised by The Cricketer magazine.

The Outlaws wicketkeeper-batsman will take the reins of the Notts outfit in the Cricket 19 game, as part of the ‘Quarantine Cup’.

Moores will be up against fellow professionals from Hampshire, Essex, Gloucestershire, Warwickshire and Northamptonshire in the round-robin group stages, with Tymal Mills, Jamie Porter, George Hankins and Imran Qayyum having already been confirmed as part of the line-up.

The contest will be streamed live online, while the likes of BBC Test Match Special’s Dan Norcross and Alison Mitchell will lend their voices to commentary.

More information on the Quarantine Cup, which will begin on Easter Sunday, is available here.
