After over 100 days away, the Nottinghamshire squad made their return to the hallowed turf on 1 July.
With the ECB confirming that the doemstic cricket season will begin on 1 August, Notts made a start on an intense four-week period of preparation under cloudy skies at Trent Bridge.
Whilst new protocols and guidelines meant it was a far-from-conventional day of training, there was no doubting the mood of delight and excitement as the Outlaws took their first steps onto their home ground for over three months.
