Alex Hales and Imad Wasim have had their places in the 2021 PSL confirmed ahead of the draft for this year’s competition.

The pair were both part of the title-winning Karachi Kings side in 2020, but will line up on opposing sides in the upcoming edition of the tournament, with Hales moving to Islamabad United. Wasim, meanwhile, remains with Karachi.

Hales, currently starring in the BBL with Sydney Thunder, hit 272 runs in the 2020 PSL with a high score of 80*, while Wasim’s seven wickets came at an economy rate of 7.06.

The draft for this season’s edition of the PSL will take place on Sunday 10 January, with the tournament itself running from 20 February to 22 March.
