Eloise Della Spina starred with bat and ball as Nottinghamshire's U18 girls cruised to victory over Lincolnshire in a County One Day encounter at Collingham.

The opener hit 53 from 41 balls, the highest individual score of the game, as Notts reached 159 before being dismissed after 38 overs.

In reply, Lincolnshire never threatened to overhaul their opponents, Della Spina taking 2/13 as her side triumphed by 64 runs.

It was a success made all the more remarkable by the inclusion of two members of Notts' U15s (Olivia Macey and Rhianna Jones) and one representative from the U13s (Diya Badge) in the Green and Golds' line-up.

Indeed, Macey's 38 from 64 balls was crucial in maintaining a modicum of momentum as Notts moved past three figures, while Jones ran through the Lincolnshire lower order to finish with figures of 3/6.

Mollie Greasby's all-round contribution included a score of 30 batting at number seven, and the wickets of Connie Gittins and Sophie Smith.

The remainder of the Lincolnshire wickets, meanwhile, were shared between Ashlie Richardson, Hester Dakin and Libby Mae Armitage.
