Ben Slater and Tom Moores expressed their pride and surprise at being bestowed County Caps ahead of play on day one against Worcestershire.
The duo were presented with their symbolic headwear by Darren Bicknell and Chris Read respectively as spectators looked on from the stands at Trent Bridge for the first time in some 20 months.
