Nottinghamshire captain Steven Mullaney said he was 'proud' of the efforts of the red-ball side in 2021 as the season came to a close with victory over Yorkshire.
The all-rounder spoke of his privilege to lead the side to seven victories in the County Championship this summer, culminating in their highest finish in the red-ball format since 2015.
Mullaney also gave a special mention to the newly-capped Brett Hutton, the retiring Peter Trego and Luke Fletcher, who was named the PCA's County Championship MVP at the end of the match.
