Steven Mullaney remained in confident mood despite a gutsy fightback from Worcestershire towards the end of the second day of their LV= Insurance County Championship clash.

The Nottinghamshire skipper discussed the importance of carrying momentum from a brutal Stuart Broad cameo with the bat into a productive start to Worcestershire's second innings, and looked ahead with optimism to the use of the new ball on the third morning.
