Calvin Harrison’s five-wicket haul helped Nottinghamshire dismiss Lancashire on the opening day of the Second XI Championship fixture at Southport.
The all-rounder claimed figures of 5-30 from 16 overs as the home side crumbled from 99-2 to 213 all out.
Toby Pettman, meanwhile, earned social media praise from Stuart Broad in claiming 3-50 from 13 overs, with opener JJ Fielding (81) the standout performer for the Red Rose.
The visitors progressed their own first innings to 95-2 by the close, with trialist Joe MacGregor unbeaten on 36 after captain Matthew Montgomery posted 31 at the top of the order.
