The Nottinghamshire fast bowling duo of Dane Paterson and James Pattinson are each making their first appearance of the season as the Green and Golds face Glamorgan at Trent Bridge.

Luke Fletcher misses out while he continues to recover from the hamstring strain he sustained against Sussex.

Lyndon James is being rested after a punishing bowling workload in the same game.

“While Luke and Lyndon will be missed, it demonstrates the depth of our squad that we have two international players coming in to replace them,” said the club’s Head Coach Peter Moores.

“Lyndon’s performance with bat and ball was outstanding at Sussex, so it’s frustrating to not have him with us, though it makes sense with the volume of cricket we have coming up in the next few weeks.

“Luke’s injury seems fairly low grade so I’m hopeful that he will be available for selection against Durham.”

Nottinghamshire team to face Glamorgan: Ben Slater, Haseeb Hameed, Ben Duckett, Joe Clarke, Steven Mullaney (captain), Tom Moores, Liam Patterson-White, Joey Evison, James Pattinson, Brett Hutton and Dane Paterson.
