Matthew Carter completed a match haul of 7-57 as Nottinghamshire’s Second XI’s rain affected pre-season encounter against Leeds/Bradford UCCE ended in a draw.
The off-spinner completed first innings figures of 5-39 as as the students posted 127-9 in response to the home side’s 108 all out at Weetwood, before adding a second innings haul of 2-28 in a total of 100-6, with Calvin Harrison (2-28) also among the wickets.
Sol Budinger (70) and Dane Schadendorf (55) had, between times, starred in the visitors’ 49-over total of 203-6.
The Second XI will get their competitive campaign underway against Lancashire at Southport on Monday.
