Outlaws stars Alex Hales and Ben Duckett have been joined by a host of fellow internationals in signing up for the UAE’s inaugural T20 league.

Having played host to the Indian Premier League in recent years, the UAE will launch the ILT20 in January of next year.

Hales, Andre Russell, Chris Lynn and Moeen Ali lead a tranche of marquee signings, whilst Duckett is joined by fellow England internationals in Saqib Mahmood, Liam Dawson and Jamie Overton in committing themselves to the league.

Hales’ fruitful white-ball summer continued over the weekend, with a match-winning half-century in the Trent Rockets’ opening fixture, to go with his 374 Vitality Blast runs at an average of 26.71.

Duckett meanwhile has enjoyed a stellar all-round campaign for Nottinghamshire, scoring in excess of 1,400 runs to date, earning him England Lions honours with both the red and white-ball.
