Nottinghamshire fast bowler Zak Chappell has returned to Gloucestershire on a two-match loan deal.

The paceman will be eligible for selection in the West Country outfit’s County Championship matches against Hampshire (19-22 July) and Northants (25-28 July) at the Cheltenham Cricket Festival.

Chappell made two First-Class appearances for the Bristol-based side in an earlier loan spell this summer, while his eight wickets for the county across five games in the Vitality Blast included a career-best analysis of 3-19.

On his return to Trent Bridge, the 25-year-old secured figures of 3-28 in Outlaws gold as the hosts completed a 94-run triumph over Derbyshire.
