Dane Schadendorf struck a run-a-ball century after Finlay Bean was eventually dismissed on 441, as Nottinghamshire and Yorkshire played out a high-scoring draw at Lady Bay.

Bean, resuming on 365*, ended with 52 boundaries and three maximums to his name, as the visitors posted 814/7 declared.

The hosts lost Ben Martindale first ball of their second innings, before Matthew Montgomery and Joey Evison (41) got into their stride.

The Green and Golds’ skipper, alongside Schandendorf, then took the game beyond a chance of a result with a 160-run third wicket stand, before Montgomery fell just short of a second hundred of the match, dismissed for 95.

Schadendorf, the aggressor of the pair with 13 fours and four sixes, was eventually bowled for 104, to accompany his first innings 52.

Eventually, the two sides shook hands with Nottinghamshire 269/5.
