Nottinghamshire’s Toby Pettman has joined Derbyshire on loan for their LV= Insurance County Championship fixture at Durham.
The fixture will be Pettman’s second for the county this summer, having taken three wickets for Mickey Arthur’s side in a six-wicket win over Middlesex at Chesterfield.
The seamer went on to make his maiden appearance in Division One of the County Championship while on loan at Kent, removing Rory Burns and Jamie Smith in a drawn encounter at Surrey.
The 24-year-old has secured 24 scalps in his five Second XI Championship appearances for Notts this summer, having been the second-most successful bowler in the competition last year.
