Nottingham CAMRA Chairman Steve Westby has confirmed that the long-running Robin Hood Beer and Cider Festival will return to Trent Bridge Cricket Ground this October.

Trent Bridge enters its second year as the festival host with more bars and barrels than ever before from Wednesday 12 to Saturday 15 October.

Brewery bars representing Castle Rock, Blue Monkey, Navigation Brewery, Nottingham Brewery, Lenton Lane and Shipstone’s will stand alongside stillages of quality real ales from esteemed brewers across the country,  as the festival returns at scale.

Tickets will go on sale later this summer, with those keen to attend invited to register their interest here...

“Last year’s festival was a triumphant return after a two-year absence and we’ve worked on some changes to the festival site to make this year’s event one to remember,” said Westby.

“Nottingham is a hotbed for brewers and this event will celebrate their commitment to the old favourites and their quest to unearth new flavours for real ale fans to enjoy.

“We’re delighted to have extended our partnership with Trent Bridge and look forward to making this year’s festival our best yet.”

Trent Bridge will also play host to music stages, a key keg bar, perries and ciders, gin and tonic outlets and a wide selection of street food vendors.

Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club Commercial Director Michael Temple hopes that new attendees will enjoy the backdrop of one of the world’s most historic sporting venues.

“The Beer Festival was a true highlight in our calendar last year and we’re really pleased that Steve and the CAMRA team have confirmed that Trent Bridge will continue to host such a prestigious festival,” he said.

“We all learned a lot in hosting the event and we welcome CAMRA’s plans for a bigger and better festival this year. The festival plan includes hundreds of extra seats, more space on the concourses and new areas to discover.

“Ticket holders can be assured of great beers in a venue to match and I can’t wait to join them.”

Nottingham CAMRA continue to recruit volunteer staff for the event with willing candidates asked to register here...
