15 Wickets fell on a dramatic return to red ball cricket for the Second XI at Lady Bay, where Joey Evison and James Hayes each took three wickets as Lancashire were dismissed for 200.

Matthew Montgomery made an unbeaten 48 in reply, but was offered slim support by the Notts top order with the Green and Golds finishing 77 runs in arrears and five wickets in hand.

Having lost the toss and been inserted, Lancashire mustered two partnerships worth over 24, the sixth wicket worth 51, and the seventh wicket worth 60.

Prior to the rebuild, Evison had taken three wickets and Hayes two as the hosts slumped to 70-5.

England U19 George Bell and CJ Dickinson each scored 40s to wrestle the momentum though and, after the former was bowled, Harry Singh offered stubborn resistance.

In reply, Sol Budinger, Ben Martindale and Joey Evison perished prior to Notts reaching 50, but Dane Schadendorf and Matthew Montgomery stabalised matters.

The pair shared a 50 run partnership before Schadendorf was caught behind, with Sammy King also falling before close.
