Ben Duckett has won the John Pye Auctions Player of the Month for April following a stellar start to the season.
The left hander scored 430 runs in the month, averaging 72 and only failing to pass fifty in one of his six innings.
Against Glamorgan, in Nottinghamshire’s first game at Trent Bridge, Duckett struck his first century of the season - a 207-ball 122 - the only centurion in the fixture.
He followed his hundred up with 95 in the second innings, before going on to make scores of 50 and 78 against Worcestershire, and 54 against Durham.
The strong start has seen him amongst the pace setters for leading run scorer in Division Two of the LV= Insurance County Championship.
