Lightning Director of Cricket James Cutt says the chance to call an 'iconic venue' such as Trent Bridge home will help the side reach the next level in their development.
Nottinghamshire became the new host for the regional centre of excellence following a tender process, with a new identity to be revealed in the coming weeks.
And Cutt, who cited the team's previous appearances at Trent Bridge as a marker for the potential success moving forward, says the side can't wait to get started.
