The tantalising prospect of securing the Division Two title is creating a feelgood factor in the Trent Bridge dressing room, according to day two top-scorer Joe Clarke.

Clarke, who hit 67 as Nottinghamshire extended their advantage over Leicestershire, also spoke of the freedom he felt at the crease after Haseeb Hameed and Ben Slater had negotiated a tricky final spell on an opening day where 20 wickets fell, and backed the Notts bowling battery to secure the spoils with half of the contest remaining.
