Haseeb Hameed passed 1,000 Championship runs in 2022 on the second day of Nottinghamshire's LV= Insurance County Championship meeting with Worcestershire at New Road, but the Green and Golds found play to be tough going.
Only Hameed and Liam Patterson-White passed 30 in the first innings as Notts, responding to the Pears' 390 all out, were dismissed for 128 and asked to follow on.
The visitors then closed on 129/6, still trailing by 133, despite another battling knock from Hameed, who this time posted fifty.
