Nadine de Klerk praised the attacking intent displayed by The Blaze after they secured a tense four wicket win in Durham, courtesy of record Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy figures for the South African.

The 23-year-old claimed 7-32 as Diamonds were bowled out for 62, and credited Kirstie Gordon for her ruthless instinct with The Blaze having got off to a bright start.

Despite losing six wickets in the chase, de Klerk also spoke highly of The Blaze's positive approach with the bat on a difficult pitch, which, she says, stands her side in good stead as they move on throught the competition.
