Kirstie Gordon and Sophie Munro have been included in a 21-player England A squad for a tour to Oman later this month, with Performance Analyst Dan Patey amongst the backroom staff.

The tour from 12 to 25 November precedes three IT20 fixtures against India A in Wankhede, for which a squad of 14 will be selected.

Blaze skipper Gordon, who has represented England Women in Test and IT20 cricket, led her side to the final of both the Charlotte Edwards Cup and the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy in their inaugural season.

She took 14 wickets in the latter, with an economy of 4.07 - amongst the lowest of any wicket-takers in the competition.

She claimed a further six in the 20 over competition, with 10 more in The Hundred for Trent Rockets.

All-rounder Munro took 14 wickets across the domestic competitions, whilst she finished not out in four of her 12 innings with the bat - including a top score of 41 - outlining her finishing ability.

Meanwhile Patey will tour with England for the second time, having been a member of Chris Guest’s backroom team for the ICC Under 19 Women’s World Cup earlier this year.
