Trent Bridge will celebrate Bonfire Night with a fireworks and street food extravaganza on Saturday 4 November, as Nottingham Street Food make their third trip to the venue in 2023.

The centrepiece of the evening will be a fireworks display at 8.15pm, which attendees will be able to witness from seats in the PKF Smith Cooper Stand.

Opening at 4.30pm, the venue concourse areas will host some of Nottingham's finest food traders - including many who have graced Trent Bridge at this year's previous street food events. Entertainment will also be plentiful with musical accompaniment and five refreshments bars open throughout the evening.

"It feels only right that an event as steeped in tradition as Guy Fawkes' Night should find a home at Trent Bridge," said Nottinghamshire's Commercial Director Michael Temple.

"Nothing quite matches up to witnessing a Fireworks Night celebration done at scale with the atmosphere of fellow revellers around you - and we know that Notts Street Food will take care of refreshments with their usual flair.

"This will be a family-focussed event with everything that you would expect from an organised display.

“We can't wait to join everyone on the fourth of November."

From the street food traders in attendance, families will be able to taste a variety of cuisines including Caribbean, Japanese, Indian, Thai, Mexican, Persian mezze and Malaysian, as well as the finest confectionery, hearty baked goods, fried chicken, craft beer and artisanal coffee.

"The two sell-out events we've hosted at Trent Bridge this year have been fantastic - it's been the perfect place to bring food-lovers and food traders together," said Aaron Wilson of Nottingham Street Food.

"Food is always an integral part of the Bonfire Night experience, and our city's finest stallholders will be back in force on 4 November to provide the ideal accompaniment to the firework displays, with a little street food twist."
