Newly appointed Nottinghamshire club captain Haseeb Hameed, and The Blaze's Marie Kelly and Chris Guest, will visit the Nottingham Cricket Lovers' Society when they next meet on Thursday 1 February (7pm) at Trent Bridge.

Hameed recently became permanent skipper of the side following Steven Mullaney's decision to step down, having previously led the Outlaws' One Day Cup side.

The opener has recorded 2,860 County Championship runs for Nottinghamshire to date at an average of over 40, and earned a recall to the England Test side in 2021.

Guest, The Blaze's Head Coach, will be joined by all-rounder Kelly to discuss their cricket careers and their first season at Trent Bridge which saw the side reach both the Charlotte Edwards Cup and Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy finals.

Membership of the Society costs £15 for the winter season or £5 to attend an individual meeting.
