James Bracey's 186 helped Gloucestershire to a sixth successive victory in this summer's Metro Bank One Day Cup, as Notts fell short by 52 runs.

The 28-year-old wicketkeeper-batter helped his side to 343 for seven in their 50 overs, with Rob Lord (2 for 60) the pick of the home attack.

In reply, Haseeb Hameed made 80 from 88 balls and Jack Haynes continued a good run of form with 57 from 66, a sixth 50+ score in eight innings, but the visitors prevailed despite late counter-attacking cameos from the lower order.

Bracey had been sharp from the outset, compiling a strong first-wicket partnership with Cameron Bancroft before the latter was taken at mid-off, with Pocklington the bowler.

Bracey completed his fourth List A hundred, the first of this season, from 98 deliveries, before his partnership with Price ended when the latter top-edged to mid-off for 34.

Lord then took two in two to dismiss Ben Charlesworth and Miles Hammond, before James Hayes deflected Graeme Van Buuren’s drive into the stumps to run out Jack Taylor and had Daaryoush Ahmed caught on the boundary.

Bracey was ultimately caught at short fine-leg reversing James.

After Ben Slater and Ben Martindale departed early, Haynes responded with another half-century in a fine summer across all formats. His innings featured seven boundaried, but concluded when he was caught off the glove attempting to pull Miles.

James was caught on the cover boundary off Ahmed, before Sammy King perished for 21 as the Outlaws sought to accelerate.

Hameed made 80 from 88 balls, a third successive half-century, before falling to van Buuren.

Jack Taylor removed Pocklington (13) and Dane Schadendorf (28 off 22), Matt Taylor dismissed Lord (27 from 18), before Price wrapped up the win as Brett Hutton, having hammered the right-armer into the Larwood and Voce Stand from the previous ball, was caught on the long-on boundary.
