Nat Sciver-Brunt, Tammy Beaumont, and Amy Jones have been named in the England squad to take on India in three Metro Bank ODIs later this month.
The trio have all been involved in the ongoing Vitality IT20 series against the same opposition, which currently stands at 2-1 to India with two matches to play.
Captain Sciver-Brunt has been ruled out of the remaining IT20s through injury, with Beaumont leading the side in her absence, but is expected to play a full part in the ODI series.
England are yet to lose an ODI under Sciver-Brunt’s captaincy, having completed a comprehensive 3-0 whitewash of West Indies earlier this summer.
Both Beaumont and Jones, who currently form England’s 50-over opening pair, struck back-to-back hundreds in that series, totalling 213 and 251 runs across the three games, respectively.
Meanwhile, Sciver-Brunt backed them up with two half-centuries, including a rampant 57 not out from just 33 balls in the final match to steer England to a nine-wicket win.
The ODI series against India commences on Wednesday 16th July at Utilita Bowl, before taking in further matches at Lord’s and at Banks Homes Riverside in Durham.
