The Notts Street Food Festival will make a triumphant return to Trent Bridge for the second time this summer during the August Bank Holiday weekend.

Following a successful first outing of 2025 during The Blaze’s Metro Bank One Day Cup clash with Hampshire over the May Day Bank Holiday weekend, the Festival will return alongside Notts Outlaws’ 50-over fixture against Surrey on Sunday 24 August.

Approximately 3,000 people attended the last staging of the Festival in May, with next month’s latest staging seeing the return of the winning combination of top-quality street food, drinks, and live entertainment.

A total of 18 traders will be present at the event, with a wide range of cuisines to suit all tastes, and more details of each individual stall will be confirmed in due course.

Five bars will provide the refreshments, while there will be accompanying entertainment in the form of a DJ and a live steel pan band.

Play in the Outlaws’ clash with Surrey begins at 11am, while the Festival will be split into two sessions, from 12pm to 4pm, and 4pm to 8pm.

Tickets, priced at £6 for adults and £3 for concessions for either session, are available to purchase now.

Secure session one tickets – 12-4pm.

Secure session two tickets – 4-8pm.

2025 Nottinghamshire members can secure entry to the game free of charge, but will be required to claim a ticket in advance. Members will be contacted with more details on how to claim their tickets.

Please note that, whilst both sessions will allow access to view the cricket, there is a likelihood that the game could be nearing a close as the second food festival session commences.

“We’re thrilled to be returning for another dose of Bank Holiday festivities at Trent Bridge,” said Notts Street Food’s Aaron Wilson.

“It’s one of our city’s most esteemed sporting venues, and with the accompaniment of One Day Cup cricket at the same time, provides the ideal backdrop to a successful festival.

“We’ll have a mixture of old and new traders showcasing their finest dishes across a huge range of cuisines, and we’re sure that it will be another day to remember at Trent Bridge!”

Michael Temple, Commercial Director at Trent Bridge, remarked “We’re delighted to be welcoming the team from Notts Street Food back to Trent Bridge next month  for a festival that has become one of the highlights of our summer.”

“Hosting the festival alongside a men’s 50-over fixture makes for a fantastic Bank Holiday occasion, and we look forward to welcoming regular supporters and first time attendees to enjoy all that we have to offer.”
