All-rounder Liam Patterson-White has been recognised for several standout showings during June with his inclusion in the PCA’s Team of the Month.

The team is selected based on the PCA’s MVP rankings, which award points to players based on their performances in each match they play.

The June Team of the Month includes points gained in the first two days of July too, due to the overlapping of round 10 of the Rothesay County Championship.

Across both the Championship and the Vitality Blast, homegrown left-arm spinner Patterson-White claimed 20 wickets in June at an average of just over 26 apiece.

He added 154 runs across seven innings to that, striking a top score of 87 in the Championship at home to Yorkshire, as well as registering three catches.

The 26-year-old started as he meant to go on in the first week of June, dizzying Derbyshire to return a match-defining 3/20 as Notts picked off a derby-day win at their arch-rivals’ home.

He would claim two more three-wicket hauls before June was out, including another on the road in the Blast, as the Outlaws chased down a memorable victory over Bears at Edgbaston.

Patterson-White then rounded out the month with a series of marathon spells with the Kookaburra ball, totalling 174 overs over two Championship rounds.
