Byron Hatton-Lowe’s century was not enough for Notts Under-18s to eke out a win over Lincolnshire as they fell to a six-wicket defeat.
Hatton-Lowe shone at Notts Sports Club with a 110-ball 118 that included 14 boundaries, while Max Kennedy added 60, but the hosts’ 284 all out was overhauled with nine balls to spare.
Matthew Brown took 6/45 to stunt Notts’ efforts to post a strong total, before Max Cartledge top-scored for the visitors with an unbeaten 80.
James Laud and Lincolnshire captain Daniel Marshall also contributed with scores of 60 and 54, respectively.
Meanwhile, Daniel Cole, Jacob Hughes, and Riley Boswell claimed one wicket each, alongside Adi Badge executing a run-out.
