Lucy Higham will make an open-ended dual-registration loan move to Tier Two side Leicestershire Foxes.
The bowling all-rounder, 27, will join up with the Foxes on Friday (27 June) and could make her first appearance later that day, in a home T20 clash with Northamptonshire Steelbacks.
Higham, who remains a Blaze player primarily and will only appear for Leicestershire when availability allows, is working her way back to fitness following a foot injury.
The spell will be Higham’s second with the Foxes, as having been born in Leicester, she played the early years of her career for the Grace Road outfit before joining Nottinghamshire in 2017.
She went on to sign for The Blaze, then known as Lightning, in 2020, and has remained with the side ever since, taking 58 wickets in List A and T20 cricket combined at 27.80 apiece.
