The Blaze all-rounder Orla Prendergast has returned home to Ireland for family reasons.

Prendergast, who is in her second season with the side, has been ever-present so far this season as The Blaze have moved to the top of the Metro Bank One Day Cup table.

She will miss the remainder of the opening block of 50-over fixtures, as well as the first exchanges in the Vitality Blast.

"As well as being a really important part of our side, Orla is a fantastic person to have around the group, and all of our thoughts are with her as she returns home," said Director of Cricket James Cutt.

"It's important that she takes all the time she needs with her family, and we look forward to welcoming her back to Trent Bridge if she is able to return later in the summer."

The Blaze's overseas spot is to be occupied by Heather Graham for the majority of the T20 campaign, after her signing was announced alongside Prendergast's in February.
