Brett Hutton claimed four wickets to lead the way with the ball as Nottinghamshire bowled Warwickshire out for 257 on Day One of the season-closer at Trent Bridge.

In dismissing the visitors, Notts collected three of the five points they now need to seal the Division One title after Surrey failed to gather any batting bonuses in their game away to Hampshire.

Hutton returned 4/46, while Mohammad Abbas claimed 3/33, as the hosts put themselves in the position of needing to simply score 300 in their first innings to claim a first crown in 15 years.
