Lyndon James passed the momentous milestone of claiming 100 career First-Class wickets, but Nottinghamshire's victory push against Worcestershire was held up by the weather on Day Three at New Road.
Despite James claiming figures of 5/35, including three on the third morning - two of which put him on a hat-trick - to bowl the Pears out for 160, only 14.3 overs of Nottinghamshire's chase was viable due to bad light and rain.
It meant just 40.2 of the scheduled 104 overs were able to be bowled, but, in pursuit of 136, Nottinghamshire still closed on a healthy-looking 40-1 after Ben Slater and Freddie McCann applied themselves well in the gloom.
