The Midlands and West Independent Beer Awards 2025 will take place at the Nottingham Robin Hood Beer & Cider Festival on Wednesday 8th October 2025, the Society of Independent Brewers (SIBA) have announced today.
The prestigious awards, which celebrate the very best independent craft beers from across the Midlands and the Western counties of Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire and Shropshire, will see expert judges assess hundreds of entries across a wide range of categories. From traditional bitters and porters to hop-forward IPAs and modern craft styles, the competition showcases the region’s incredible brewing talent.
The Nottingham Robin Hood Beer & Cider Festival, one of the largest and most renowned festivals of its kind in the UK, provides the perfect stage for the competition. With thousands of beer lovers expected to attend, festival-goers will not only enjoy sampling an extraordinary variety of beers and ciders, but will also have the chance to taste award-winning brews fresh from the judging tables.
Anthony Hughes, Midlands Director for SIBA, said: “The Midlands has a thriving independent brewing scene, and the SIBA Midlands Indie Beer Awards are all about recognising and celebrating the very best. We’re delighted to be hosting this year’s awards at the Nottingham Robin Hood Beer & Cider Festival – a landmark event in the beer calendar that brings together breweries and beer lovers alike.”
Winners from the competition will go forward to the SIBA National Independent Beer Awards 2026, where they will compete against the finest beers from across the UK.
