The fast bowler, however, was outshone by Dillon Pennington, who led the Green and Gold attack in claiming four scalps as the hosts were bundled out for 182 despite 61 from Gareth Roderick.

A prolonged bout of thunder and lightning interrupted play for over two hours during the afternoon, but Notts then batted with little alarm through to stumps.
