Trent Rockets Women Assistant Coach Katherine Sciver-Brunt sits down for a candid interview as she discusses balancing a return to cricket with motherhood.
Sciver-Brunt is still England Women’s second-highest wicket-taker of all time across formats, and has formed a vital part of Chris Read’s staff that have guided the Rockets to their first-ever women’s final.
Here, the former fast bowler talks openly about the demands of both roles and how life has changed since she became a mum to Theo alongside her wife, Rockets star Nat.
Sciver-Brunt also discusses her move from playing into coaching, a change which she reflects on as having mellowed her formerly fiery on-field persona, and her desire to give everything to her new role.
