Nottinghamshire members are being invited to share their thoughts and help to design proposals to modernise the club’s General Committee.

Ahead of the release of a new ten-year strategy, the Committee are proposing some changes to the club’s Constitution to ensure that the club’s leadership provides the skills, experience and aptitude needed to succeed.

A key part of the proposals is retaining Nottinghamshire’s status as a thriving members’ club with deep roots in communities across the county.

The proposed changes include modifications to the makeup of the General Committee, along with the formation of a Members’ Committee to formalise and strengthen relationships between members and the club’s Committee and executive staff.

Background information on the proposed changes is available here…

Members are being invited to register to attend an informal meeting in the coming weeks, where they can discuss the plans with Chair Andy Hunt, Interim Chief Executive Michael Temple and members of the Committee's Governance Working Group.

These meetings will take place on Friday 4 September and Friday 25 September, during the lunch interval of Notts’ County Championship fixtures (scheduled for 12.30pm).

Members must register in advance if they would like to attend one of these meetings. Register your attendance here…

Members are also invited to attend a focus group to help determine the terms of reference for the proposed Members’ Committee. Those who are interested should register here, and the club will be in touch to confirm timings.
