As many as six players from The Blaze could be involved when England meet Scotland in the group stages of this year’s ICC T20 World Cup.

Following the release of the full fixture schedule for this summer’s tournament, the two neighbours will face off at Headingley in both sides’ third group game on 20 June.

Kathryn and Sarah Bryce, alongside The Blaze captain Kirstie Gordon - following the latter’s decision to re-declare her allegiances to the country of her birth - could all appear for Scotland.

Meanwhile, England are set to be led by Nat Sciver-Brunt, who is set to line-up alongside her domestic teammates Tammy Beaumont and Amy Jones.

Both sides have been placed into Group B, which also features Orla Prendergast’s Ireland after they too came through the Global Qualifier alongside Scotland earlier this year.

Scotland take on Ireland at Old Trafford in both sides’ first game of the competition on 13 June, while England meet them three days later in Southampton.

West Indies, Sri Lanka, and defending champions New Zealand round out the group, from which the top two teams will join their Group A counterparts to make up the semi-finals.

Group A features record six-time champions Australia and 2024 runners-up South Africa, plus Asian trio India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh, and debutants the Netherlands.

The competition is being hosted in England and Wales for the first time since 2009, which saw one of the semi-finals hosted at Trent Bridge, and runs from 12 June to 5 July.
