Farhan Ahmed's quickfire 62 helped Notts to victory over Durham in a T20 at the John Fretwell Centre, Sookholme.

Ahmed scored his runs from just 39 balls, with support from Rob Lord (56 from 38) as the hosts made 175/8 from 20 overs.

Durham never seriously threatened to chase down their target, with two wickets apiece from Dillon Pennington and Joe Pocklington as the visitors reached 152/7.

The visitors tasted success in the day's second fixture, making 146/9 from 20 overs, with Ahmed, Pocklington and Lord each taking a brace.

Travis Holland got the chase off to a strong start with 39 from 20, but Notts were ultimately dismissed for 128 in 17.3 overs.
