Peter Moores praised Notts Outlaws’ demonstrated ability to step up their game in the “big moments” as attention shifts to a home quarter-final with Surrey.

Despite the Outlaws falling short by 18 runs against Yorkshire to round out the group stage, they will still continue their involvement in this year’s Vitality Blast in the last eight on Wednesday.

Moores noted that defeat will remind the Outlaws of the disappointing feeling of losing, and says that is something that will drive the team forward in midweek.

He believes his side have everything they need to be successful, particularly on the mentality side, where he is pleased with what he has seen across the group stage.
