Josh Tongue was sold to Manchester Super Giants for £200,000 as six Nottinghamshire players earned contracts at The Hundred Auction this week.
After 12 players from The Blaze were signed up in the women’s Auction on Wednesday, a further half-dozen Outlaws followed them at the men’s Auction a day later.
Tongue was the leading wicket-taker in the men’s Hundred last summer for the then-named Manchester Originals, claiming 14 scalps in only six games at an average of just 11.07.
The 28-year-old will be joined on his return to Emirates Old Trafford by Tom Moores, who was snapped up by the Super Giants for £50,000.
Meanwhile, Joe Clarke will also return to his 2025 team after Birmingham Phoenix delivered the winning bid of £85,000 for his services.
SunRisers Leeds, the new guise of the former Northern Superchargers, were most active in acquiring Outlaws, signing Benny Howell for £50,000 and Liam Patterson-White for £31,000.
Finally, Olly Stone will be on the move from London Spirit, where he has spent the last two years, but his journey will be short after it was MI London who swooped on him for £50,000.
The six join Ben Duckett, who had already agreed to spend a summer at his home ground with Trent Rockets as a direct signing in January.
