What The Nottinghamshire Cricket Board Does

The Nottinghamshire Cricket Board is the body responsible for all recreational cricket in the county and ensures the smooth running of the game on a number of different levels. It also directly manages and operates all county age-group cricket in the county and has:

  • Over 20 sub-county/county squads
  • Women’s team
  • Over 50s team
  • Has over 150 affiliated clubs, 12 affiliated leagues and supports a number of volunteer organisations (e.g. umpires & scorers, groundsmen etc)

Some of its other duties include:

  • Supporting disability cricket, Chance to Shine coaching in schools and affiliated clubs with access when applying for funding streams 
  • Provides Coach Education and Safeguarding courses and school holiday coaching camps
  • Manages the accreditation of Clubmark
