Andrew Oram was born in Northampton on 7 March 1975 and played for Nottinghamshire for two seasons, 1997 and 98. A medium pace right-arm bowler, he featured in 19 First-Class matches and 20 List-A games.

His best bowling was 4-37 against Surrey; for the First XI Oram took 57 wickets at 29.00. In limited-overs cricket his best return was a very similar 4-45 versus Glamorgan and in his List-A matches for the county he took 33 wickets at 31.17

His batting was definitely in the tail-ender class, a First-Class top score of 13 and a List-A high of 1no, though to be fair he only had four innings in that format of the game.

After leaving Trent Bridge, Andy Oram appeared in a single Minor Counties game, representing Bedfordshire against Cumberland in 2009.
