FORGET ME NOTTS TAKE DEMENTIA ACTIVITY SESSIONS ONTO THE TRENT BRIDGE TURF

Trust News

Forget Me Notts, a group for people living with dementia run by the Trent Bridge Community Trust, has held its first cricket activity session on the hallowed Trent Bridge turf.

The Trust has recently partnered with the Nottingham Forest Community Trust, the National Ice Centre, Nottingham Rugby and Edwalton Golf Club to offer a range of sporting activities to those living with dementia - making it the first project of its kind in the UK.

Notts TV caught up with Nottinghamshire Club Captain Steven Mullaney, the Trust's Community Projects Manager Mark Clifford and Kate Davies CBE, a trustee of the Trust and a member of the Nottinghamshire Committee, to hear about the value of staying active after a dementia diagnosis.

Watch the full video below, and find out more about Forget Me Notts' regular activity sessions here.
