Tickets for all four home matches of Notts Outlaws’ eagerly-awaited Royal London One-Day Cup defence go on sale this morning from 10am.

As the Club bid for a repeat of last year’s competition victory, where they beat Surrey in a pulsating final at Lord’s, they will launch their home campaign at the intimate out-ground of Welbeck CC.

Fans in the north of the county will get to see the team at close quarters as the Outlaws take on the Northamptonshire Steelbacks on Sunday 20 May.

The Club’s Annual Family Fun Day on 27 May against Warwickshire is just £1 entry for everyone.

There will be lots of entertainment for people of all ages and the chance to step out onto the hallowed Trent Bridge turf and enjoy a game at the interval.

Coinciding with the half-term holidays is Notts’ third home match against Worcestershire Rapids on Friday 1 June.

And the Outlaws’ 50-over group games will be rounded off with a floodlit game against local rivals the Derbyshire Falcons on Thursday 7 June.

“After the fantastic memories we made in winning the competition last summer, we can’t wait to start our defence this year,” said batsman Billy Root, who scored a century in last season’s victory against Warwickshire.

“We have some great talent and experience in the squad, which I believe will make us a very competitive side in this format again, and it’s great that we’re going to have Ross Taylor in our ranks as an overseas player.

“The Family Fun Day in particular is always a great day for everyone and hopefully some of those people who come along who have never been before will become fans of the Notts Outlaws.”
